While I am not commenting in the article itself, I am proud to see these beautiful photographs of my journals by photographer Sang An opening the story. This article was from February 2001 when I was working up at Oprah. One of the staffers noticed my journal on the desk and asked if I wouldn't mind having my journals shot for the story. I think they show the true beauty of the wear and tear and commitment I had to this art form.
